Dialogue - Top of the Drops EP      (Lo-Fi Stereo)

That German minimal Dub-House sound again, always infectious, and always most appreciable when heard LOUD. This time it is the turn of Dialogue a.k.a. Niels Jensen and Stefan Riesen to contribute to the genre. ‘Channeldiving’ takes the most direct and minimal Dub-laden approach with its low stabs of resonant bass and distant, stark percussion. Synth lines weave in and out of the mix and peak towards the middle of the track, with the overall result being very moody and deep. On the flip-side ‘Toasted Golden’ pursues a lighter more dancefloor friendly feel with a funkier bass-line, breakdowns, and slightly more aggressive percussive style. Meanwhile, ‘Lowglow’ returns to the deepness, yet retaining all funk and groove imaginable. This is quality stuff that all fans of the genre or Deep-Techno should check out.
