Breathe Thru Your Feet - Edit Ready : 11th Hour Technology

The second release in as many months from this excellent London based electro label sees the Macedonian duo Edit Ready handing them four more tracks of outstanding machine funk. First under the spotlight is ‘Digital Deformity’, a stuttering, metallic cut blending ravey synth stabs over a rolling bassline and tweaking percussion, for the EPs most obvious dancefloor thrills. Following that, and featuring one of the lowest bass tones to be heard, ‘Chest’ is guaranteed to blow any remaining cobwebs from your olfactory system… Next up, ‘What About Muff?’ is the tune most electro heads will be snapping this up for – simple drums and decimated noises stand no chance against the massive bassline which builds and distorts throughout the track, leaving shattered glass and needles in its wake… Finally, ‘TechMARK10’ finishes the EP off in fine style, a slightly dubbier track with some cool bass bleeps and key shifts… All in all, a damn fine debut…
