Adult. - Resuscitation      (Ersatz Audio)

The fifteenth release on this Detroit electro label sees Adult. providing a timely album compilation of their exploits to date. Sadly available only as a CD, this covers the finest moments of their ‘ultra-synthetic’ releases over the past few years (some re-released, some slightly remixed). Hard to pick out highlights amongst the quality here, but particular mention must be made of ‘Hand to Phone’ (a release for the Dutch Clone label), still one of their finest moments for its hard synth programming and dark vocal drive. Also the Radio Edit of ‘Human Wreck’, probably one of the best examples of the ultra robotic electro style. For anyone who has missed out on previous releases, or wanting an introduction to this side of the Detroit sound, this is an essential purchase…
