E.B.E. - Square Four EP      (Solid Trax)

It seems as if Lucas Rodenbush, aka E.B.E. can do no wrong at present. Everything he turns out (and he has been very productive of late with EP's and mixes on Soma, Jump, Plastic City and Greyhound), has an almost completely different sound and style to it. This EP is no exception, and offers four cuts of really dance floor orientated deep tech-house, closing the Square series of EP's. From the huge funky analogue bass-line and heavy crisp percussion of 'Whole II', the melodic and soulful 'Whole', to the minimal stabs of 'Phoebes', this EP demonstrates the future of house, and the talents of E.B.E.. Essential.
