Boobjazz - Lost Moments EP      (StiR15)

Another superbly produced release from this excellent German deep house label. The title track 'Excursions' is a deep break-beat driven house track with kick drums of enormous proportions, which beautifully and ever so subtly build and then break into trippy and luscious melodies over a warming bass-line. The track sits nicely in the mix while everything happens and the track your mixing from fades out, before captivating the dance-floor. Excellent. 'Remember Me' is an excellently produced but more traditional jazzy house track in a Glenn Underground style, and 'Departure' ties the EP up, and is a 4/4 mix of 'Excursions' which manages to retain the hypnotic vibe of the original.
